Sangamon Valley R/C Flyers are builders and pilots of radio controlled model aircraft of all types. Planes range from electric park flyers, simple glow-engine powered trainer aircraft, to giant twin-cylinder gas aerobatic aircraft, and helicopters.

Weather permitting, flying is typically done on weekends and often on weekday mornings. HOWEVER, flying can take place any time of the day for SVRC members and trainees.  A current AMA membership is required to fly.

Club meetings are on the first Thursday of each month. During the spring and summer, meetings are held at Holmes Airport. During the fall and winter, meetings are held at the Rochester Christian Church.

Club dues are $45 per year.  There is no initiation fee.

The next meeting is May 5th at 6:30p at Holmes Field.  Flying before and after so arrive early!
